Branding your Content
When you develop e-learning, it is important that your learners see you and your company. You want to ensure that your brand is properly represented so that people understand that your content was developed for you with your audience in mind. When learners see that the content they are learning has been developed for someone else in mind it puts a question around the contents relevance to them and their environment. When a learner sees that the content is surrounded by your organization’s branding, they know that they were taken into consideration. Here is a helpful checklist created by iPal for what we would require when we start working together.
iPal E-Learning Methodologies
When iPal first started building our e-learning programs, it was obvious that the industry had many vendors selling various types of products such as authoring tools, Learning Management Systems, voice narration services, media services, animation services and so on, but lacked a key element to developing successful e-learning. The Process! iPal developed the proprietary methodology that includes not only the technologies and services required to develop an effective e-learning program, but also the processes required to implement the content using the technologies. The following models were developed by iPal to help better communicate the processes required to take in order to better define requirements and produce a better e-learning course.
Model Name: Instructional Design Maturity Model
Description:
This Instructional Design Maturity Model (IDMM) was created by iPal to illustrate the connection between the Instructional Design Process, the Instructional Design Systems and the Instructional Design Capabilities following the discipline of Project Management as seen by the outer rings. With the advancement of technology and the requirement to be ‘online’, the IDMM helps better define the process an Instructional Designer would follow when developing an online course.
Model Name: Learn Apply Achieve Model

iPal’s Learn, Apply, Achieve model shows how we truly have the learners success in mind during development of courses. The right column displays the many features that iPal offer to help the learner achieve what is displayed in the left column. Students that complete our courses will have learned the content through the use of rich graphics, animations and avatars. They will have applied their knowledge by completing puzzles, quizzes, and data entry on an interactive platform. Also learners will have completed outputs and enhanced their knowledge, achievements which can be used in their careers and personal lives.
